Trips depart from Bali on a 3 day cycle. The entire moon phase can offer great surfing at G-land. However, the days after a full moon or new moon have the biggest tide changes, there by offering up a few extra hours of high tide at most spots that would be less accessible during a middle moon phase. Send us your desired departure date and we will reply with dates that are as close depending on the 3 day departure cycle.
Surfing seasonal overview for G-land:
Surf always seems to be very steady in Indonesian waters. However, bad weather would definitely have an affect on surf conditions. Generally G-land experiences a wetter time of the year between December and February, but foul weather times are unpredictable and can occur during all months of the year. This G-land Instructional Surf Tour runs from March – October. It is closed for the off season months of November – February, but special arrangements can be made during the off months if conditions present themselves favorable for a trip into G-land.
