As an intermediate surfer I wanted to learn to surf "better" waves in order to improve my technique. This was my 6th time to visit Indo, but Cyrus is the guide who knows the indonesian waves better then anybody I have met. He is a truly all-round waterman who pushes you - in a very safe way - over your own confidence zone in order to reach the goal you have set at the start of the trip. His knowledge of the Indo waves - and particulary G-land - is amazing. Even in the more crowded Bali waves I got as many waves as the locals all due to his great ocean knowledge. This part of teaching has been the greatests help for me as he let me only paddle for the right waves, implicating that I had energy left to surf many hours. This resulted in surfing many waves and that finally helped me to reach my goal which we had set at the beginning of the trip. Besides all his surfing and adventure knowledge he is a great guy to hang out with and his individual service is outstanding. I can highly recommend this trip to anyone - either beginner, intermediate or advanced - who is looking for a great surfing adventure in Indo and to finish in Cyrus his words - this trip WILL BLOW YOUR MIND.
